After a long period of patience, Minneapolis musicians Mike Salow and Charlie Engen have at last outfitted themselves with the perfect personnel to form the band Ideology, with which they plan to pursue their deep interests in progressive metal music. This pre-album demo ,"Bliss" (formerly known as Boston Matrix)is the first track released by Salow or Engen that also features vocalist Wesley Berger, bassist Luke Ibach and second (but NEVER less important) guitarist John Whitaker. From the ambient introduction to the luscious leads to the thrilling thrash bridges to the single-string face-smashing faux-finale, this demo track will have you dying to know what's coming next.

Bliss (Demo)

This started with my fascination of 11/8 over 12/8, and ended up developing into something more than what I had originally intended. My goal is to start a band to play this and many others with. 

Recurring Withdrawals

This is an overhaul of the first song I ever wrote on a seven string axe, some seven years ago. I've included the recording from back when I first wrote it just for fun - you can still hear almost all of the ideas through the horrible recording quality! Thank you all so much for listening!
