All In All is a work in progress, this is just my musical diary and way of keeping a record - indeed a recording - of what I'm up to, at the moment this song is lyrically unresolved, with two separate themes, one being a love song, and the other a sort of 'Feed The World'-type please for world hunger and humanitarian aid in cases of, for instance, genocide, forced migration... it's the voice of a nomad saying all in all you have is your soul - there may be other ways to learn it, but love is as good as any. Happy new year!

I wrote this because of all the crazy shit goin' on in the world, it's a prayerful song about how to stay centred while the raging chaos swirls all around you, about keeping it simple and keeping goal-oriented, even - maybe especially- when those goals are functional and homespun.

Self-penned song pared back, this is about a guy who rides the railroad looking for thrills, but he's also seeking redemption. He's seen too much war, he's seen how self-destructive behaviours play out, he longs for a simple connection to the land and to other people but those people are playing their own dramas out, and it's gonna be very difficult to have the sort of reset of human emotions that is called for, but he's trying to stay optimistic even so......

'Lord of the Dance'  is a hymn written by English songwriter Sydney Carter in 1963. The melody is from the American Shaker song "Simple Gifts" composed in 1848. This version features Moonman and EMily Scialom singing, Moonman plays cajon and harmonica.
