Dino Lenny returns to Crosstown Rebels with his latest single ‘I’ve Learned That’, accompanied by remixes  from Shadow Child and Jonathan Kaspar - plus his own take with Fed Conti. 

A regular on labels including Afterlife, Ellum, Innervisions, and Diynamic, London-based Italian-born DJ/producer  and Fine Human Records boss Dino Lenny’s solo and collaborative catalogue continues to grow as he features as  one of the most consistent names within the worlds of house and techno. Having released his first EP on the label  in 2019, he now returns to Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels for a second outing with the release of his  touching new single ‘I’ve Learned That’ - which is one of a collection of records dedicated to his daughter - with  remixes from Shadow Child, Jonathan Kaspar, and his own interpretation alongside Fed Conti. 

“My daughter Victoria is seven years old. Since she was born, I always felt I had to make sure she knew  about me straight away. You never know how much time you have. At first, I was going to write a diary  with all my thoughts and stuff like that. But if she’s a little bit like me, she’d probably pick up the book a  few times and leave it there. So I decided to transform my thoughts for her into songs. ‘I’ve Learned That’  is one of those.” - Dino Lenny. 

Shaped by emotive piano keys, blooming strings and refined drums, ‘I’ve Learned’ showcases a rich and  heartwarming production taking cues from dance music and beyond as the track’s uplifting and inspiring vocals  carry the production across nine minutes of delight. 

Beginning the transition towards more traditional electronic spheres, his remix alongside Fed Conti utilises vibrant  guitar licks and a luminous bassline to head into a late-night discovery of disco influences. Next, Shadow Child’s  ‘Classic Mix’ is a skippy house gem as bumping low-ends work amongst hazy chords, with Jonathan Kaspar’s  remix moving deeper via surging synths for a hypnotic and thrilling ride to close.

Tim Andresen has his fingers in many musical pies. In this role he continues to fire on all cylinders. He juggles his busy schedule full of DJ gigs and music productions and manages to run his own What Happens label and co-run our Savoir Faire Musique. As if that wasn't enough, he is also co-owner and head resident DJ at the legendary Culture Box in Copenhagen which is often described one of the best small clubs in the world. Tim has previously dropped tracks on labels including Re:FreshYourMind, Younan Music, Natural Rhythm and Seamless Recordings to name a few. This is his new highly anticipated release called Let It Go consisting of crisp beats and a dreamy soundscape.

This is my all time favourite house tune by maestro Junior Vasquez originally released in 1994 on Tribal records. We made shorter edit to play this brilliant house anthem in 2018.

As well as Russian producers Dave Pad, Fake Mood, SCSI-9, Gorje Hewek, Izhevski, Come Closer, Amonita, Agraba, Thierry Tomas. The success and longevity of the label owes much to Mike Spirits obsession for music, with his label showcasing at Moscow's biggest clubs as well different venue's across the globe. Regular guest slots at the biggest events and clubs in Moscow, like Blanc, Gazgolder, Propaganda, Radio at Supermetal, Chateau de Fantomas have further strengthed his appeal 

An accomplished producer in his own right, Mike has a proud selection of quality and diverse underground releases under his own belt across many great labels including his own Highway records.

At the turn of this decade Mike Spirit was tasked as “Cultural Minister” for Kazantip republic and Epizode festival. He was also made the head of art-management on Sochi's Winter Music Conference and In 2015 he was at the helm of art-management of Alfa Future People festival.

At the heart of Mike Spirit's wide-ranging and expansive understanding of all things underground is a fundamental belief: he neither believe in following trends nor the concept of guilty pleasures. His commitment encapsulates what can make dance culture so life-changing and enthralling: it’s about the clubber on the dance floor reacting to the music. Few cater to that dancer quite as effectively as Mike Spirit.
