Being named a resident at Berghain is likely an unattainable dream for so many DJs, but for Sedef Adasi, it all happened naturally. The Turkish producer grew up in the mid-sized Bavarian city of Augsburg, where a lack of spaces she felt comfortable with—she's mentioned DJing in shoe stores—led her to start her own party, HAMAM Nights. From there she made her name with a vibrant, diverse sound that encompasses breaks, electro, techno and more, with soft-focus melodies and plenty of vocal hooks. She's one of the first residents at the legendary club to truly reflect the glorious cross-pollination of dance music styles in the '10s, when techno absorbed ideas from dubstep, garage and more. 

Adasi represents both floors of that club, and you could imagine this RA Podcast going down in either room, but of course, she exists outside that club's narrative too. What you'll hear here is a cutting-edge and dynamic blend of electro and Latin techno—with two tracks from 2022 MVP Nick León—mixed with grace and finesse. Her sound is immediately approachable, well-paced and full of catchy moments and breakdowns. Listen and find out.

This set brings back so many good memories.  I had just recovered from my very first bout of Covid, and for a while, I'd thought i was one of the lucky immune ones.  Thankfully it wasn't serious.

I'd heard so much about De School and was thrilled when Enyo reached out and offered me a booking.  Meeting and bonding with the whole lineup and new and old friends in attendance made it even better.  It will always remain a special night to me.

Brazilian producer and DJ Nicolau Marinho steps into summer with a new release on Smash Deep, titled ‘In Monako’. Known for his distinctive underground approach to house music, Nicolau continues to explore the world between classic influences and modern production with this funky-house-driven track.

‘In Monako’ draws on Marinho’s signature formula - placing well-known hip hop samples at the core of the groove. Strings weave through a punchy, rolling beat, while tight percussion and bass push the track forward. It’s a sharp production that builds around contrasts. The result is a track that feels playful while staying true to his stripped-back house aesthetic.

Hailing from Rio de Janeiro, Nicolau Marinho has been shaping his sound since launching his solo project in 2013. His releases on respected labels such as Hellbent and Music is 4 Lovers have earned him recognition across the house circuit, while performances at major Brazilian festivals - including Universo Paralello, Soulvision, and Samsara - have solidified his presence behind the decks. Alongside producing, he’s also committed to music education, sharing his knowledge through masterclasses and offering tools like his Tech House Sample Pack to emerging producers.
