1. Let us give thanks to our God
The Lord, the Pantocrator
Let His grateful children gather
To give thanks to the Father

2. For He has loved us,
As he loves His Only-Begotten Son.
Before the founding of the world
Let us give thanks to the Father

3. For in His image He made us, 
Humanity and no one other, 
The Word took flesh from our kind

4 .For He sent His Only-Begotten Son
In the womb of the Theotokos
To save us from our sins
