To be brief... once upon a time a Dope emcee, MIKEY BARSLOW, became family with another Dope emcee, King LaMeek aka DA JINX (now King LaMeek aka Smugglz). So impressed with King La'Meek's talents, as BARSLOW waited out a bad recording contract (as a recording artist), he decided to put his all; time, money, production efforts and a dash of management skills behind his Homey creating one of the dopest projects to come out of Jerz. His belief in King La'Meek second to none and as the story goes, as with many stories in Hip-Hop... many of the labels that gave incredible reviews of the 4 song masterpiece... ended up passing on the artist and BOXCAR PRODUCTIONS family. It has happened with the biggest names in the industry.
