MikeyC is an upright bassist from Philly, Minneapolis, NYC, Miami & DC. He is known for a retro sound rooted in rock and roll, rockabilly, country and blues music of the 1950s. Among influences such as Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Ray Charles and Fats Domino, Mikey also draws inspiration from artists as diverse as Amy Winehouse, the Squirrel Nut Zippers, and the Ramones.
