ENTRE-NOUS 4

Mikey Da Roza is a loyal and avid music fan with ties into the electronic music scene since 1994. He discovered “techno” as it was called back then, when electronic music started to explode on the Canadian West Coast. Originally from Vancouver, Mikey chose to call Calgary his home after moving eastward across the Rocky Mountains. Within a very short period of time, his musical abilities, business sense and outgoing personality brought him into the ranks of Canada’s DJ elite. Now with over 15+ years of dj'ing under his belt, his versatile house sound spans several genres - from deep and techy Chicago house to big room floor fillers. 
 
It was his passion for music that drove Mikey to start throwing parties under the Aqua Audio banner, building it into a household name amongst Calgary’s house music fans. With numerous club residencies, guest dj spots and producing close to 1000 shows over a 14 year span, Aqua Audio put became one of the biggest and reputable electronic music promoters in Calgary. In 2014, Aqua Audio joined This is Blueprint (Vancouver) and has begun to produce some of it's biggest shows to date.
 
Now at the forefront of Calgary’s electronic music scene, Mikey has taken on a new project, by opening Calgary’s first “micro-club” concept, Habitat Living Sound. With his business partners, they have dedicated themselves to pushing the musical boundaries once again, providing a destination for house music and helping build an even larger dance community within Calgary.

One of Calgary's premier and most sought after entertainers, Mikey Da Roza has grown and expanded into a household name. Make sure you keep your ears out for the #CarteBlanche and #EntreNous mix series.
