My first collaboration with J. Higgins and originally intended as an Idle Gossip tune, but after rehearsing it a few times the band decided it was a bit too "hard" sounding for us, so this will be on my solo album if I ever learn to actually sing. ;)  Recorded via audacity with a Fender Mexi-strat with P90 pups, no-name bass, and Beatcraft drum sequencing program.

I don't care what anyone says, this is a great song.  I copped my arrangement from Scottish band Travis, but I can't sing, so there's even more charm to it...especially when I hit those high notes.  Recorded on Audacity with a cheap lapel mic.

I've been playing in bands for almost 30 years now and writing songs for just about that long.  About ten years ago I started demo'ing songs at home using Audacity and a freeware drum machine program called LeafDrums.  I still largely use Audacity but have graduated to a better MIDI drum program and have finally started fiddling around with some drum loops.  This account is a record of my demos over the past decade and especially for my two bands of that time, the Snallygasters and the Idle Gossip.
