Kedr on growing up in Russia and the influence that had on her music: 
"Of course the big problem was perpetual drunkenness—people would drink themselves to death. I was born on October 4, 1990. It was a very interesting but critical time for Russia—a time of great change. The Soviet Union was no more, and old values were anathematized because of the reconstruction.

In my early teens no one seemed to understand me in this world (I thought), so I read Washington Irving novels and listened to The Cure. At around 20 years old I felt a real need to find myself, so I entered the directing department of the Moscow School of New Cinema. At the same time, electronic music fascinated me completely.

A small circle of my friends formed around a mutual interest in music. We always went to concerts together, of which were mostly international artists: Inga Copeland, DJ Spinn and DJ Rashad, Legowelt, Death Grips, Florian Kupfer, Dean Blunt, etc. It wasn’t long until we organized the community and DIY record label known as John’s Kingdom. It’s not only about music; it’s also a channel for art, videos and lifestyle. Now it’s the most alive and honest thing in Moscow.

My music is strongly inspired by Autechre, Aphex Twin and Boards of Canada, but with the lyrics and mood of Mazzy Star. I admire contemporaries Inga Copeland and Laurel Halo, however, my songs are more pop-leaning because of the powerful influence MTV had on my adolescence."

On March 14th 2016 one of the UK’s most talented rising DJ/producers Copy Paste Soul returns to Exploited with his brand new EP entitled “Flare”.
 
This outstanding three-track offering follows the Londoner’s acclaimed “Home” release on Exploited last year, and further releases on imprints such as Suara, FCOM, Gruuv, Intec, Alive Records, MadTech plus his very own 2 Swords Records which have helped his music garner support from the electronic music elite including; Laurent Garnier, Moxie, Carl Cox, Annie Mac, Justin Martin, MistaJam, Skream, T. Williams, Modeselektor, Disclosure and Tensnake.
 
As ever, the soul drenched warmth usually found in his productions sit across all three tracks here, as he continues to advance his signature sound that comprises Detroit Techno, US garage and D&B into a left of centre broken sound. Building on his recent “In Focus” on Intec, Copy Paste Soul delves deeper into his techno past with an EP offering up an EP with rave inspired low-end bass goodness.

Luke Slater (aka LB Dub Corporation, Planetary Assault Systems, Krispy Krouton, Lloyd Owes Me A Packet, Deputy Dawg and Earnest Honest, amongst others) is back with a very special double remix EP of Josh Wink's "Denial". Luke splits up his multiple personalities with two reworks coming in from his better known aliases, LB Dub Corporation and Planetary Assault Systems.

Three years of silence since LB's Unknown Origin album on Ostgut Ton have now been broken with his relentless 8.5 minute spin on "Denial". Stark in contrast to Planetary's heavily mechanical take which opens the release, the "LB Dub Corporation Mix" is set apart by its analogue loops and undulating groove. Mr. Slater shows off his schizophrenic talent(s) with this remix EP of forward-thinking, floor-focused machine music – providing a heavy remix package that needn't include any more artists to cause an absolute ruckus. A warmly welcomed return to one of techno's seasoned pros.

„Als ich mit der Produktion des Track „Headlights Off“ anfing“, erzählt @o-m-e-r-o, „existierte mein Pseudonym noch gar nicht.“ Zu der Zeit arbeitete er nur an seinen üblichen Sachen, die er für das Duo Etwas Anders kreierte.
