Our final free download of the year finds Emi Galvan and D-Nox joining forces for a much-anticipated rework of Underworld’s ‘Dark & Long’. Argentinean DJ and producer Emi Galvin has consistently defied expectations throughout his much-lauded decade-long career. Through the success of early tracks like 2016's ‘Taking Over’ and ‘Universe’, the Buenos Aires resident emerged into one of the progressive scene’s most promising talents. A rich musical background with time spent in rock bands playing guitar and singing gave Emi’s electronic compositions a measurable creative edge. This elusive sound did not go unnoticed as he quickly earned the praise of genre tastemakers Cid Inc, Eelke Kleijn, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren; while landing career defining releases via Balance, Sudbeat and The Soundgarden. Meanwhile, hailing from Germany but now based in Brazil, D-Nox has continued to thrill fans with both cutting edge music and enlightening DJ sets. Whether operating in solo capacity or as one half of D-Nox and Beckers, the German artist lays claim to an impressive resume, highlighted by releases on Bedrock, Einmusika, Sudbeat and his own Sprout imprint. Having previously worked together for Guy Mantzur’s Plattenbank imprint, Emi and D-Nox also took to re-imagining Underworld’s ‘Dark & Long’ earlier this year. Now over thirty years old, the Original version was the lead track on the British band’s third and most critically acclaimed album ‘dubnobasswithmyheadman’. As a favourite of Sasha, Digweed and a host of other A-list DJs, there are few productions which have stood the test of time in a more enduring fashion. Ending the year on high note, we’re thrilled to offer Emi and D-Nox’s much requested ‘Dark & Long’ interpretation as a free download. Enjoy.

Eichenbaum, the Argentinean producer known for his melodic prowess, has been steadily building a catalogue of tracks that ooze style. Following on from his standout 2023 EP on Balance Music, Eichenbaum drops another gem that’s already turning heads: a progressive anthem backed by remixes from some of the scene’s most promising rising talent.

Sweden’s EMPHI flips the script with a remix that’s dripping in groove. The tempo feels seductive, anchored by a bassline that swings like it’s got something to prove. Misha Sid - DJ with signature melodic and atmospheric sound in the styles of Progressive House, Melodic Techno and Indie Dance. In 2024 Misha stared producing music, the project is called Cidertrip and combines ethnic, organic and space sounds into atmosphere progressive house equally good for individual listening and party. First release is called Sihaya and is dedicated to Dune universe and brings in the love to science fiction as a source of inspiration. Track was released by Prostereo Records in October 2024.
