It is Monday the 24th of February 2014 and we have Argentina born and Barcelona based Sebastian Lopez aka Flug for the first time on the CLR Podcast. Over the last ten years, Flug has positioned himself in the global Techno scene as one of the most promising producers and performers. He has been an integral part of the Argentine and Barcelona scene and his productions have made it into the playlists of some of the most acclaimed international artists. You can find his work on labels such as Stockholm Ltd, Sleaze, SINO, Enemy and very soon he will release four original tracks on the “Sincrodestino EP” on CLR. His main label is Glasgow's Sleaze Records where he has released countless songs and the very first album of the imprint. The present set has been recorded live, last Thursday at CLR´s weekly Disturbance party in Berlin. If "Forgiveness of Blood” | KR3.009 was marked by a modern vision of techno voiced by Tensal's sound, this remixes EP chronicles the tension that shapes the sound of the artists involved: SHED, Anthony Linell, Alessandro Adriani and Tensal himself. 

Static and hypnotic waves of strain recur, even though the 4 tracks represent 4 different major expressions of what techno explicitly and implicitly stands for. 

Forgiveness of Blood Remixes - is a distillation of the modernist and nostalgic sound capable of impacting both on the dance-floor and mentally. Four strongly evocative tracks that narrate not only the artists' but also the label's path.

Legendary Soma Records artist Funk D’void is back with a fantastic EP that straddles the boundaries between House & Techno in the quality Soul Slap EP. Now is the 30th year of his career, Lars Sandberg really needs no introduction and his credentials are endless and with this modern production he shows why he is still a force to be reckoned with. Up on the flip we welcome the remix talents of Berlin based DJ/Producer, Heiko Laux.

Funk D’Void’s signature big, anthemic sound is prevalent from the outset of Soul Slap as punchy chords reverberate and oscillate backed by cleverly constructed, percussive elements. Lars easily straddles the worlds of catchy, Detroit House infused melody with more modern sounds and vibes. 

Heiko Laux steps up bringing his invaluable remix talents to Soul Slap. Things definitely go a little darker in Heiko’s epic, 9min version as a growling bass line and think, layered kick sounds back the gradually building atmospheric elements before a perfectly sequenced synth hook takes things into the body of the track. Heiko works in the original’s base hook before smashing it home with a full on percussive workout on the hi hats.

Lars has always been one to create unique and standout music, all done with a crystal clear signature sound and nods to his Detroit techno roots.

Melodiously dedicated,  Catalonian born and based techno producer and DJ Miki Craven,  has been a formidable player on the underground scene in Barcelona for over two decades.

Label owner of "Dark Rose" and "White Rose" records, one of 3 founding members of  "TWD" records,  and with several releases on seminal labels including  "Kobayashi",  "Outpost",  "Soma", "Dynamic Reflection", "Different is Different",  and "Unknown Territory" to name a few, Miki now has a respectable discography, which portrays a variety of clear-cut techno that has an energetic elegance to it as well as a well-positioned potency within it.  

Miki's drive behind his career would be one of self-discipline and self-development as an artist, and can be seen stretching back from his days in the 90's of putting on raves in and around Catalonia, Spain and France with the "Tasmaniac" crew, to his years of collaboration with "Tresor" as Spanish representative and resident, and working with longstanding friends "David Tarrida" and "FunkD'Void" as well as many other producers,  DJs and promoters of the scene.
