I don't drink, but when I do I sometimes get hungover and spend time making silly spoken renditions of poems with too many fancy words.

Here is one such reading of Canto 1 by Ezra Pound. Cooked in a post-bender a few years ago and recently rediscovered...

Pound wanted to "compose in the sequence of the musical phrase, not in sequence of a metronome". I'm quite certain that my speaking over a cacophony of looped click-bound samples is what he had in mind.

Anyway, listen to the sound it makes.... I liked making this; hope you'll like it too.

Why do I keep fuckin' up?

I originally wrote the lyrics for this song for my old rock band. At that time we played some serioushy ballsy rnr, and this song was no exception. At some point I but decided to redo the lyrics a bit and frame them as a broken hearted "the tear that hangs inside my heart forever-ish" love song. 

Recorded with the internal microphone of an old Mac, so the sound is a bit rough around the edges. I like it though. Sad as fuck.

Stain

The track was composed by my friend Søren (http://soundcloud.com/toneklang) for our project Kælders Sliced Crisp Beats. 

Back in 2007 I added some spacey Tortoise guitars and bounced the shit. And now I'm uploading it. 

Søren hates guitars, so he's probably gonna kill me. Also, I don't remember the original name of the track, so I re-christened it. Oh, well.
