Her er så en version med fuldstændig anden tekst som jeg ikke selv har hørt siden dengang. BIG UP SØREN JOHANNESEN FOR AT SENDE MIG DETTE!

Elsk det eller had det, men hvem andre rimede sådan i 2001? Det kan jeg godt have optur over i dag. MEN - i 2014 ville jeg have valgt denne version frem for den alt for komplicerede tekst der endte med at komme med. Det var een af mine største fejl som tekstskribent i sin tid - jeg forelskede mig i de mest ambitiøse ideer, og kunne ikke droppe dem igen selvom de nogen gange blev alt for "tænkt". DJ Møller, du havde altid ret - i alting - det ved jeg nu. <3

Jeg husker tydeligt SMS'en der kom ved midnatstide - "jag har tydligen just gjort den besta beaten i min karriär". Det er ikke så tit at min gode svenske superproducer-ven DJ Large roser sig selv, og jeg er virkelig stor fan af hans særlige sound, så sådan en teaser fuckede med min nattesøvn. Næste morgen lå den i indbakken, og den melankolske lyd fra Large passede perfekt til min næsten færdige tekst om min ven som jeg ikke længere kunne tale med, fordi hans brug af kokain var spundet ud af kontrol. Min ven og jeg har nu lagt det bag os og jeg tror aldrig han vender tilbage til den livsstil igen - i hvert fald er her et uudslettelig beskrivelse af min magtesløshed dengang han var en afskyelig snemand.

Omkvædets tekst er Helge Rodes fantastiske vintervise, skrevet tilbage i 1896, og synges så engeblidt af Ayoe Angelica.
