Following on from the success of ‘Transcend’, Elias Erium returns to Phenomena with his Fragmented EP . ‘Connected’ sits as a perfect complement with its swing heavy cadence and dynamic dance floor appeal. Chugging beats and charged grooves set the foundation for fuzzed out stabs, arpeggiated fragments and clusters of claps to work their magic leading into the break. Opening up further across an expansive interlude, percolating sonics and phasing effects unite for a slow dramatic build, eventually culminating in a nostalgic crescendo and a retro-radiant finale. It rounds out a welcome return to Phenomena for label boss Elias Erium, an artist who furthers his place amongst the world’s rising melodic house and techno producers with ‘Fragmented’.
