This Various Artist compilation is curated in support of British Columbia, Canada, which has been affected by Historic flooding across many of the southern parts of the province. This disaster has displaced thousands and has caused ongoing issues with infrastructure in many of its communities, with the risk of more damage on the way.

As creatives, the one thing we can do is use our passion to raise funds for those affected by this disaster. Once the idea was made to step up and curate an album, we were approached by Digital Motion BC who were already sitting on a 12 track LP, that they wished to donate to this project.

 In addition, many local artists have offered their music alongside some heavy-hitting international talents as well.
 This album shows how compassionate our scene is, and we are eternally grateful for all the love and support!

Beatmool - Eraser

On 13th November 2021, we landed and returned home once more: back in our rightful place of Dare To nightclub. Picture the scene...

Super-sub DJ Boursin had stepped in last minute for COVID-fallen DJ Mooncup, pulsing his heavy as a house super subs through the main room, leaving no unaddressed club-cum-capitalist trauma untouched. Elena Colombi then slipped right on in, warping the UV paint on the walls to a new shade of weird. Her signature idiosyncratic chug, tampered with a charming yet chilling darkness, that on a slow and steady boil, tickled the room, tendon to toes. Then, energy, flash; Oceanic stepped up. Locked and glued and grooves of colour coursing through rhythm on rhythm, lifting souls into the ceiling. A sax solo here and tempo change there and a marvellous new state of being had been built and destroyed in one fell swoop.

Existing in the underworld of this enlightening fray, the dungeon was writing another story: the warmth, luscious ambience of Guest's inception was soon scratched away by the tickling rolls of amen and apache, as she sent us into the magnetically lean and dark side of a hardcore wormhole. Flicking the direction of the continuum train with the swiftness of an Uno reverse card, MJK launched the delirium straight back to the future, slamming a blinding frenzy of UK r00d with no straight lines, searing paths between old and new, packing fingers with gunpowder and filling the air with banger after banger.  

And even with the fulfillment of all this beautiful chaos, there was still room for a whole lot more: it was LNR's time to launch. It's honestly amazing to witness a player so new to the game with such powerfully raw, rave rich and deliciously misbehaving selection. The lasers of simpler times dancing in the minds so bright, of a dungeon full of people channeling the NRG of ravers decades before them. It was so intense and wild that before the end of the set, the room imploded and everyone was sucked into a black hole, leaving the track to roll out to an empty room. Not even lying, I swear it was that supermassive!

It was a bloody special one, to say the least. So to give you all a chance to re-live/enjoy a slice of the nawty rave-pie, here's the recording of LNR's mighty closing set.

AorMos started out as a DJ when he was 15 years old and has enjoyed playing electronic music for over three decades. At first he played the sounds closest to the underground scene in many clubs and discos in Spanish territory, to make the leap to the Minimal sound at the end of 2000.

From that year on he became interested in all aspects of Techno, from its purest roots, wounding the most melodic vibrations, deep sounds and progressive aspects, but always looking at producers and record labels that offer great quality in their productions.
Since April 2016 he has been running his radio show "Modulating the air" on cosmosradio.de.

Aormos always stands out within the progressive and melodic techno sound, with high-level music and sessions, the quality of both the music and the sets leave it without a doubt at the top. His way of DJing is always clean and exciting, creating an atmosphere that surrounds you in the mix from start to finish, telling an exciting and always surprising story, being today a benchmark in the style.

Without a doubt, Aormos is synonymous with quality, a safe bet to keep in mind.

Eine besondere Inspirationsquelle hatte @patrikberg zu seiner neuesten EP nicht: „Meine Ideen entstehen meist während des Produzierens. Ich weiß selber nie, was am Ende des Tages entsteht.“ Für „Running Numbers“ wählte der Musiker drei Werke aus, die in seinem eigenen Studio produziert wurden: „Ich habe das große Glück, dass mein Studio direkt bei mir im Haus ist, daher ist es nicht weit, und ich kann jeden Moment kreativ nutzen.“ Das Titelstück, „Running Numbers“, ist umgeben von atmosphärischen und hypnotischen Synths, die einen tollen Groove auslösen. Eine ungeheuerliche Bassdrum kombiniert mit tighten Hats macht aus der Nummer etwas Großes. (...) Erscheint am 2. Juni 2017 mit einem Remix von @locoandjam via @filthonacid - das Label von @reinier-zonneveld.
