We got a room and took the stairs to the very top.
I broke the wine on the bathroom floor
And when we left they tried to claim for damages.
We still got drunk because we bought champagne
Popped the cork out the window to the building next door.

We meet old friends in St. Michel
Talked the night away and stumbled past the homeless men.
We were hopelessly lost at 3 am
Light a cigarette and joked about who's fault it was.
The lights were glowing and the air was hot
Tomorrows always looming but for a while it was nice,
We forgot.
