Deka is the name under which we celebrate the tenth album released in the last six years. This time in vinyl format and with a compilation of the styles that unite us most: IDM, electro and rhythms taken directly from the dancefloor.

Seven unique tracks from some of our most special artists. Sölna, Atico Corp, Sound Synthesis, Not On Earth and Frank Jhonson join our family with rhythms ranging from the smoothest electro to the most "macarras" beats. And once again, Promising Youngster and Jailed Jamie (aka Skygaze) are with us with their signature IDM.

Mures are Joshua Cordova and Santiago Leyba. They fit perfectly as MRT010, transporting the label from the cold, grey, drowned in concrete atmospheres of Acid Ernst to the working class heat of the American south. Body music, factory music, machines intensify their rhythm as degrees rise. Hot iron is forged, sweat and black stains cover faces, hard labor, the struggle and the hammers, tools for modern times restraint. Rare Metal and Workers have just paved the way to that bullet that is Trains of Thought.

This month Hilltown Disco will be launching their Angel Series. All proceeds from it will go to Dundee based mental health charity, Art Angel. 

'Collecting Crystals' is one of the tracks on the first release in the series. It's from YUYAY records main man Robyrt Hecht & CC9184.

Artists also involved include Steven Simpson, J Wax, Crossmods & Ansata.

PREMIERE: Robyrt Hecht & CC9184 - Collecting Crystals (Hilltown Disco)

There's a good bunch of intense, dark and extreme, grinding electro-techno gems on the "Raval Rave Breakers" first compilation. While Boris Divider's 'Collapsed Cluster' recalls of the more clinical approach of labels like Raster-Noton, Eel manages to deliver a fresh mix of styles on 'Sraight Edge', where Old Skool Breakbeat and EBM draw an unforgettable match made in heaven. Last track on the A side comes from Classicworks boss Neuhen, but is Patricia (Opal Tapes, Spectral Sound) who remixes it: in "Supress" we can find all the magic tricks of the NYC based producer: eery atmospheres, gently distorted drums and a warm feeling of cozyness. On the flip, RNXRX delivers "Aktion Intertia", one of the most psychedelic jams he's ever did: an industrial acid track as catchy as it can be. Oakland's "Heroine From The North" sounds a bit like when New Beat became faster and more agressive, being mixed with styles like EBM and trance.
