Marking his 6th release with the label, Michel’s sound has progressed leaps and bounds but retained all the qualities that initially drew him to the AFR camp. This brand new 4 track EP demonstrates the Argentinian’s production prowess with 3 tough and hard hitting originals . Debuting with the Glasgow based outlet on remix duties is Swedish producer Lakej, whose twisted and atmospheric interpretation of title track ‘Nullah’ further exemplifies his unique take on techno.

Strongly shaped by deep and groovy techno, Italian artist Alberto Aakira begins his musical journey under several pseudonyms, bringing his sound to his home turf with the DammitPartyGang format.
Only after several years did he create the pseudonym Aakira, influenced by Japanese culture and his hip hop roots, he created a distinctive, fast and minimal sound.
Since 2022 he has been resident for Lyra and has started to take his productions around Europe during his DJ sets, where scratchy textures exchange places with tight rhythms.

Anger comes after Fear
The mind, unable to withstand the tension, shifts into defense. There is a need to reject the sound, to call it noise, error, or anti-music. This is not misunderstanding but a protective instinct an attempt to regain control over what cannot be classified.
Rhythm feels like mechanical violence, distortion like something alien, synthesis like aggression. Yet within this aggression lies power. “Anger” is the stage of confrontation, where inner resistance takes sonic form.
Anger becomes a point of accumulated energy, breaking old perceptual boundaries and clearing the path to the next stage.

"Techno Is A State" is a 135 BPM driving techno weapon from InteliDey, built with the slow-burn pacing of his "Infinity Wave" aesthetic. The track climbs from brooding E minor into an unexpected E major lift at ~3:35, releasing a surge of euphoria before siren textures at ~4:00 push it into peak-time territory. Minimal, underground and relentless, the vocal mantra—“Techno is a state / state of emergency / let’s up the emergency”—turns the floor into a collective chant.

Philosophy behind this track:

“Techno Is A State” treats techno not just as music but as a mental operating mode: focus, urgency, and unity. The minor-to-major pivot symbolises moving from internal pressure to collective release; the sirens mark a call to presence—an ‘emergency’ to wake up, move, and verify reality together. It’s a reminder that on the dancefloor, intention becomes energy—and energy becomes truth.
