Anyone remember this show? :P

This was one of those shows that I didn't recall too too much of (I used to have this hard to find VHS of the show called "Merry Merry Marshland", which I'm contemplating on getting around Christmas this year), but kinda stuck to me...mainly thanks to the insanely awesome theme song by the same duo behind the unbelievably catchy "Mighty Machines" theme (WHEN ARE THEY GONNA GET A FREAKIN' SOUNDCLOUD ACCOUNT).
Might check it out a bit more, but for now, here's a mix of the original Season 1 theme and the better known Season 2 theme. Experimented a bit with the sound design on this one. ;)

Groundling Marsh (S1/S2-3 Mix)

So a few months back, whilst I was working on the "Tillie to the Rescue" special, I was looking into various dubs of the D-T-V "Little Engine That Could" special from 1991, and I wound up making QUITE a discovery...
As it turns out, the Croatian dub of this had the ENTIRE DUBBING TRACK, SOUNDS AND ALL on the right channel. I've mostly been using it for sounds (and potential use in the special), so I thought I'd share the OG instrumental of the theme tune of the special (which surprisingly came from the same guy who did the DuckTales theme, Mark Muller!). Enjoy my fellow train lovers!

This was the result of being home alone (also known as FREEDOM TO DO INSANE VOICEOVERS); figured I'd do something more unusual to pass the time. I could've gone full on and try impersonating the original voice actors from this period of the film (Keith Scott/Neil Crone's RUSSIAN voice/Patrick Breen), but I found the ones we ended up with (Neil Crone/Kevin Frank) to be a bit more fun to work with.
Might do more of these if there's enough interest.

Break My Stride (Matthew Wilder) - Milan Prsa

Didn't expect this sort of cover, huh?

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been slowly going through random episodes of Fraggle Rock to feed a bit of curiosity. At a time where, to be quite honest, I’ve felt incredibly empty and depressed about many things, this wonderful lil series has been among the many things that’ve been slowly recharging my creative drive. And this song in particular stuck out to me.

In comparison to the usual funk, scat-laden and country-esqe tunes we’re used to, Let Me Be Your Song has..this air of emotion I can’t even describe. A sense of wonder. A sense of sadness. A sense of pure beauty.

I’ve been slowly gaining confidence in doing my own song covers again (some of which I’ve been planning to do with a certain someone...), and after a particularly emotional breakdown-laden night, I’d decided to do something to purge a bit of that sense of...something in my system.

I hope you all enjoy.
