Techno has always been bonq’s driving force. Raised near Frankfurt am Main, it was her musical passion that made her move to Berlin in 2006, 
where in 2019 she herself began to fly off the decks. Since then, she’s projected her excitement through her energetic sets playing gigs at Sisyphos, 
Ritter Butzke and venues all over Germany and beyond. bonq, whose style developed from melodic to driving, and - depending on the crowd’s reaction - 
harder and raw peaktime techno over the past few years, became part of the SYMBIOTIKKA family and is a regular at Kit Kat Club. In 2021, she joined Berlin based Techno collective SETISFACTION. What bonq loves most about playing a gig is the energy she shares with her audience, and how, pushed by their amazing resonance, she can escalate to new heights behind the pult.

Die neue Ausgabe des Jeden Tag ein Set Podcasts kommt in diesem Monat aus Hamburg, genauer gesagt von der jungen DJ Tommahawk. Die Nachwuchskünstlerin startet nach der Pandemie durch und spielte alleine 2022 über 40 Gigs in so gut wie jedem Club ihrer Heimatstadt und darüber Hinaus  .

Ihre Sets sind geprägt von druckvollen Basslines und verträumten Melodien, die einen mit auf eine Reise nehmen werden. So war es auch, als wir gemeinsam mit ihr eine schöne Zeit beim Burning Beach verbrachten und von ihr ein wirklich tolles Closing-Set zu hören bekamen. Natürlich mussten wir sie danach gleich für eine Podcastausgabe verpflichten.
