Milan is a beautiful, strong city, respectful of the diversity of people and ideas. As we pass our (third/fourth) week of lockdown staying at home to protect ourselves and others in the fight against COVID-19, we sadly continue to feel the distance between us and our loved ones, but also that of our many fans and DJ friends in Italy and abroad.
With the doors to our home - Apollo Club - shuttered, we decided to concentrate on what we do best: serve music to our community. From this, we present to you our special initiative: ROLLOVER MILANO & FRIENDS against CORONA VIRUS.
From Milan to New York, from Ghent to Berlin, Paris and Rome, thanks to the wholehearted support of our DJ friends all over the world and their voluntary contributions, comes a special volume of "ANYTHING GOES", our edit service that pays homage to the spirit of Balearic music and beyond.
In the Anything Goes Special Compilation you will find the "secret weapons" of our friends including: 2manydjs, Adam Port, Soul Clap, Boombass, Moscoman, Bill Brewster, Kapote Toy Tonics, Claudio Coccoluto, Alex Neri, SHMLSS, OOFT!, Dadadisco, Ferraroni, Riccardo Baez, Funclab Records, Milangeles & Ckrono, Blinky, Ferrari and of course, Rollover DJs.
In light of the growing crisis, we have made the Special Compilation downloadable for a small contribution starting from 7 euros on our Bandcamp page, with all proceeds going to the official emergency fund set up by the Italian Civil Protection Department destined for the COVID-19 crisis in Italy.
It is not an easy time for any of us working in the world of music and entertainment, but it is even more important to think about those who are in more challenging situations, especially those who are risking their lives every day to fight this battle for all of us.

An Italian native DJ project, Milangeles have been following his passion for music and honing his talents for over 10 years. Filippo Tortorici has not only mastered the art of DJing, but has proven his remixing abilities to some of the industry's most critical ears (just to mention a few: Daniel Haaksman aka Man Recordings™ label owner, Diplo, Uproot Andy, Schlachthofbronx, So Shifty, Bot, Swick).



With several years of experience behind the wheels of steel playing in some of the coolest premier night spots in Italy, he has developed a unique approach to fuse all things ghetto banging the Tropical Bass scene with their remix of "Copia Doble Systema - Fisketorvet Riddim", a secret weapon track for any bass set. Their signature ability to swing from juke to trap to polka to baile funk back and forth within 2 minutes and a half, all mixed with energetic vocals, has since become an unmistakable sound that has become their signature with junky free remixes such as "M.I.A. - Bad Girls" and "Crookers - Get The Fuck Out Of My House".



Whether they were remixing a classic tropical hit "Douster - King Of Africa" with one of the hottest producers from Denmark, Eloq, or working with italian bass pioneer Ckrono & Slesh on the single "David Guetta", they were always creating night woven filled with fat bass and tropical beats. In September 2013, Milangeles were finally ready to release their debut EP "Passionata" on Daniel Haksmann's label, Man Recordings. The four original tracks EP kick off with "Samuel", a tune which features a very familiar 1980s electro funk sample, twisted in their unique Milangeles way. Starting with a cumbia groove, you will soon find yourself in a ghetto polka universe. "Pan Man" kicks off bad man style and then soon drops into a down low pogo that surely will get your dancefloor blown into pieces. "Senta Senta Senta" feat. Rio De Janeiro Ì s baile funk crew Bonde Das Preparadas make hips shake in the club. On one of Passionata EP finest tracks there is a feature with the mighty Copia Doble Systema based in Copenhagen - a true match made in heaven. 



Once Filippo moved to Milan from Pavia in 2015, he couldn't get enough of the beats; he was hooked immediately to the vibe, the crowd, the atmosphere, and the pure thrill of controlling the journey. He then co-founded parties such as Weriddim, Rrriot Nice Club & Comunidad Autonoma. He played on the main stages of many Italian and European Summer festivals. He's a wise soul, even though his age doesn't say it. 



Many say that the only one thing that audiences truly sense when they hear Milangeles spin, is the one thing that keeps his crowds waiting for the clubs to reopen and come back to him for more, it’s Milangeles strength. It’s the force that keeps Filippo constantly moving forward in a world immersed in stillness: the power of the dancefloor.
