Dado el inminente lanzamiento de LONG PLAY y bajo el tono de celebración de 20 años de carrera, Paco Osuna regalará el segundo track, TRANSHEET, este miércoles 24 de Septiembre. TRANSHEET (original mix) fue incluido en Orbeat, el segundo EP de Paco publicado en Plus8 y lanzado en abril de 2008.


“Orbeat es es un disco que me gusta mucho y Transheet fue el track que tuvo más repercusión del EP, el que dio más de qué hablar porque era simple y efectivo al mismo tiempo, por esa fracción de voz que se quedaba grabada en la cabeza. Transheet tiene una vocal entrecortada que tomé de un audio al azar y creó mucha expectación con respecto a lo que la vocal decía; recibí cientos de interpretaciones pero en realidad no tiene significado, yo no entiendo lo que dice inclusive a cappella ;)”



El Transheet que Paco nos entrega es especial, ya que es una versión distinta a la que salió a la venta:

“Esta versión tiene un sonido que tomé de un hall de un aeropuerto: grabé a la gente, el murmullo de la sala, el ruido de un avión y lo inserté en el break. Esto no existe en el tema original, es una versión que hice para mí y es la que yo pinchaba; simplemente porque la probe cuando el disco ya había salido. La diferencia con el original no es muy grande, es tan solo un detalle, un sonido de fondo en un momento de silencio pero que realmente le da vida al track en esa parte”. Paco Osuna

Paco Osuna gives away second free track: TRANSHEET 	 
 	
Due the imminent release of LONG PLAY and the celebration of a career spanning 20 years, Paco Osuna will be giving away a second track this Wednesday September 24th. TRANSHEET, originally included on Orbeat, Paco’s second EP on Plus8 which was released in April of 2008, is the cut chosen by the artist himself to share for free download.


“Orbeat it is an album that I really like and Transheet was the track that had the biggest impact on the EP, the one people talked about the most, because it was simple and effective at the same time, and also because of that fraction of voice that stayed in my head. Transheet has a faltering voice that I took from a random audio and it created a lot of excitement about what the voice was saying; I received hundreds of interpretations but it really had no meaning – I do not understand what it says even a cappella ;) ”



This Transheet is special too because Paco has picked out a different version to the one originally on sale:

“This version has a sound that I took from an airport hall: I recorded the people, the murmur of the gate, the sound of a plane and inserted it all in the break. That doesn’t exist in the original track; it's a version that was made ​​for me and it’s the one I used to play – simply because I produced it when the EP was already released. The difference with the original is not that big, it’s just a detail, a background sound in a moment of silence but one that really gives life to that part of the track.”. Paco Osuna
