My third album, originally available in 2014. As with the first two albums, 'Unknown Zones' and 'Matter', I have made some revisions to the music.

'Unknown Zones' remained very much the same as it always has been whereas some pieces on 'Matter' evolved into new tracks.

With 'Cosmic Angst', the music has remained the same and the recordings are still very much based around improvisation, however I have tidied up and strengthened the arrangements.

Originally recorded 2013-2014 in the Cally Cosmic Cabin. Revisited throughout 2015-2018 in various locations & finalised 2019 in the Chapel Perilous. All art & music by Chris Gilbert for Mild Peril Recordings.

This compilation of wizard disco forms the sequel to the album 'Matter'. All tracks have been previously available, but are now remixed and mastered to flow as a complete work, and available on cassette for the first time.

'Saltarello' and 'Gaudete' are arrangements of a 14th century dance piece and 16th century carol, respectively.

I enjoyed Gilgareth's 'Kaiser Reto' so much that I decided to work out how to play it, and then one thing led to another.

Besides a short sample at the start, this is completely remade, so it's an old-fashioned cover version rather than a remix. I used many sounds that you may recognise from other Paladin tracks, such as the dwarven choir from Cavern Dwellers, the bass from Argorhythm, that classic DX7 harpsichord and of course the ubiquitous orchestra hit. Special guest appearance by the same Roland D50 'PizzaGoGo' preset that Enya used in 'Orinoco Flow'.

Happy to say that it has Gilgareth's stamp of approval. I had lots of fun making this, I hope you enjoy it too.
