"Tonight" is a mash-up composition of W&W's "Nowhere To Go" featuring Bree and  "Be Your Sound" by Cosmic Gate and Emma Hewitt. 

It is featured on Colorado Artist H*Wood's "First Light" album, released in November, 2013 with additional vocals from H*Wood and Black Prez.

"Please Don't Lose That" is an original trap style beat, with a Sir Mix-A-Lot sample from the hit 1992 song "Baby Got Back". A full mash-up version will be featured on the upcoming "five(2)8(zero)" mixtape.

Please Don't Lose That

"Lucid" is a remix to Chicane and Ferry Corsten's beautiful composition "One Thousand Suns" released in 2012. This version utilizes an original hip hop sequence over their calm and controlled melody and vocals. 

A Lucid Dream is defined as a dream in which one is aware of being in a dream state, and can participate, or manipulate the imaginary experience in the dream environment. 

I decided to use the name "Lucid" because of the variety of patterns throughout the song manipulated by one controlled melody.

"Let You Fall" is a remix to Stoneface & Terminal's "Let You Fall" featuring Amurai released in early 2013. This version has a unique arrangement of graceful melodies and builds from the original trance piece, as well as an authentic drum track giving it a calm hip hop feel, with a lively peak.

Collective360 Summer Demo

Hello world… introducing DJ five8! The Denver, Colorado-based music aficionado—formerly known as DJTK—has rebranded and reimaged to serve clubland and dancefloors with fervent energy… and happy hands. He brings to the turntables experience at such area clubs as Suite 200, Vinyl, The Church, Beta, and Jet to name a few.

five8 began his DJ career as a junior in high school at house parties in Aurora, Colo. His virgin nightclub experience was Club Pure in Denver in 2008. In addition, he has spun wares for the Metro State University Fall and Spring Fairs, Colorado Mobile Music (NYE Fireworks show at 16th street Mall) and at Conifer and Denver East High School.

Among numerous artist collaborations, five8 has worked alongside H*Wood, Black Prez and is the official DJ of WayOh Music

Currently, five8 is mixing several singles, in addition to a hip-hop/EDM mash-up mix that will preview his upcoming June 2015 EP "five(2)8(zero)." The collective demonstrates his pride in the local community, including collaborations with local artists and producers, in a mash-up format that combines hip-hop and electric dance music seamlessly. 

Oh and the name, you wonder? five8 is based on our DJ’s height. And yet he stands oh so tall in Denver’s music scene.
