This is hands-down my favorite beat project - makes sense cuz It’s a personal compilation of the tracks I keep coming back to and also forgot we made but blew my mind—my own mix of the most memorable, unique, and timeless submissions across the past 50 cyphers. I was super picky with this one. It’s not a “best of” list—it’s my own favorites, the ones that stuck with me and I tried to reflect the best of what we’ve built in the cypher over the years—structure, pacing, experimentation, and transitions—especially with so many new people joining since the last compilation so some songs are slowed down, mixed into another, or sped up depending on my taste.

It includes everything from beat cypher #3—where we sampled a drip of water (still probably my favorite moment)—to remixes, found sound experiments, AI vocals, and wild genre flips. If your track didn’t make it in, don’t take it as a diss, there were so many to choose from (over 200!) and remember this is purely taste-based, and we’ve had so many amazing beats over the years.

Huge thanks to Omar for keeping this whole thing alive and moving forward. And respect to everyone who’s touched this cypher—whether once or 50 times or maybe will join the next participation one. This group has been to at least 4 different coffeeshops and a pandemic and you’ve all made this something real and filled with memories.
