Back for Mile3, the lovely ladies of the Crane Wives play my favorite song of theirs. I kickstarted their two new albums, looking forward to this one on it for sure. Last year playing a big park show, this year some smaller venues. This show was PACKED as they played right after The Suitcase Junket and thankfully most people stuck around. Their high energy show is always great to see.

Ricky of The Great Lake Drifters packed them into the small Wooden Nickel Bar even in early afternoon on a Thursday, the sign of things to come for the weekend for the festival. If you have a crowd on Thursday at 2pm, shit is gonna get real intense. Great way to start my festival with someone as cool as Ricky and always delivers a great show. There was nowhere to stand in this place so I literally sat at his feet, that said, this didn't turn out half bad.

Great rock band from Indianapolis invaded Appleton for Mile of Music and played a bunch of sets, after hearing they were a can't miss, I changed my schedule to make it to this show and I'm damn glad I did. Love them. Only one CD at the show, so had to buy others off Amazon when I got home. This is from their latest EP.

My favorite dudes waking up just in time to play what I would call their "sleepy" set, filled with killer seldomly heard songs at their shorter shows. Since I had just saw them late last night, they played the whole show not repeating ANY songs, up until people were shouting requests for the last song, so they then played one repeat. Great stuff, so much killer material.

Wild Adriatic back in Appleton for the second time this year, such great dudes and many epics shows, since I didn't record the show outside in the rain aside from some videos, this is the only show I recorded audio at. Great stuff, line out the door and down the street with people trying to get in.

A righteous duo that brought major energy to every show they played (and plenty of humor). Great times with this band from Indy. Both members left the stage to wander into the crowd at different points in the show, the lead singer played his guitar walking down the bar on his knees knocking drinks helter skelter. ROCK!

Brother O' Brother - Your Touch - Chadwick's, Mile of Music, Appleton, WI 8-8-2015

Matt's goodness rings true on this new track while he plays 6 kick pedals and guitar and still manages to give us the googly eyes when it's time to sing along. This was the second show I saw him, after the first I immediately purchased all 3 of his albums. Great stuff.
