Inspired by Louisiana greats such as Mystikal and Soulja Slim, along with Texas giants like Z-Ro and DJ Screw, this talented lyricist brings a unique "boom bap" style stemming from Chicago legends Kanye West, Common, and Lupe Fiasco.  "Neptune's Room" offers an eclectic mix of samples that only a true crate digger could appreciate.

Written on a November vacation, the inspiration for MIYA resembled it's birthplace: fun yet introspective. The essence of this album is woven into a musical blanket thick enough to keep a warm vibe.
