Let It Go (by Miles High)

Miles High hails from Auburn, IN.  We are currently working to support our most recent release, but have pretty much written what will become our next album.  Besides our originals, we play a wide variety of covers, ranging from the Chili Peppers to Pearl Jam to Prince, and a lot in between. We play a high-energy live show. Definitely check us out, when we are in a town near you.

We finished and released our first album "Freaks 'n' Losers" in the autumn of 2010, though it is currently out-of-print. In February 2011, we reconvened in the studio with Randall Yeager as producer to begin work on "Pleasure Playground", this time as a five-piece act, having added a dedicated lead guitarist, allowing Maurice to be a frontman. This process saw a lot of development, both professionally and personally. 

Our music, especially this last album, spans many genres, often times in the same song. We feel you just put down whatever comes out, and don't worry too much about whether it is rock, funk, rap, reggae, etc.; try putting The Talking Heads into a single genre, for instance. That's the beauty of art. A painter can paint portraits, landscapes, still-lifes, or whatever they like, why can't musicians make music in a similar fashion? We think this last album appeals to a wide variety of tastes, and we hope you all in enjoy it as well. At 65+ minutes, there is something for everyone. We are constantly evolving, and we think our next album will be a logical continuation, but will likely have much more of a live feel and be a bit more freeform, in an attempt to bottle our live energy, without necessarily making a live album.
