Globetrotting Texan trio Khruangbin present the video for their new single ‘Friday Morning’. A song about “jumping into love,” ‘Friday Morning’ skips between laid back Isley Brothers-­esque vibes via delicate tempo changes into gentle hymnal passages.

On 26th January, Khruangbin will release their second album ‘Con Todo El Mundo’ on Night Time Stories. Continuing their world music pedigree, the band has expanded their global influences on this record from Thai funk to sounds of Spain and the Middle East, particularly Iran, from the 1960’s, 1970’s and beyond.  Khruangbin will embark on a tour of UK, Europe and North America in support of ‘Con Todo El Mundo’.

I finished this mixtape / EP, whatever it is, a few months ago. It’s a combination of demos I was working on that I loved playing out at shows the last year or so. Some old, some new - it’s a mix of all of the genres and styles that I’m feeling at the moment.
