The second addition to our new "Striktly" series continues with the one and only Burial, Burial, Burial... For those who don't know, "Striktly" is a series on this label with free remixes of tracks from all over the music spectrum.

Inspired by the 15 years after his LP Untrue came out, I went a bit back in history and decided to re-make one of my favorite tracks from the same named South London Boroughs EP of his, the first appearance on Hyperdub and in general out in the wild.

Even though the original track itself flares rave all over the place, this one is twisted into an intense club setting where unlike Burial with his grid-less approach, this one will be a steady and constant drive in every mix of the courageous DJ ready to play this tune.

The remake is simple, it's containing only the elements from the original track — all twisted, fucked and some even left clean as is — in proper hyper-dub fashion that is, hehe. Long live dub, long live rave!

All Striktly remixes are completely made from scratch during one-night sessions, replacing the "1N Remix" titles from DJ Bazootka.

This is a refined dopamine supper, a techno adventure through a dark Dutch discotheque with totalitarian grooves inspired from late 90's and early 00's stuff. A hypnotic but hard and powerful energy made to dominate sound-systems at clubs and take every raver or listener through an intense but melting adventure. 

Sexy and powerful vocals are fused with the old-school thumping 4/4s, creating a very interesting blend of dark underground techno with ghetto-tech influence throughout the EP.

Now, The Prodigy don't need no introduction. Their music and tunes have perhaps influenced all of us proper headz, and I'm no exception - in matter of fact they were my first techno/rave music to discover on the NFS:MW 2005 OST haha. I love their earlier stuff, I'm like an addict when it comes to those anthems. Remixing Prodigy ain't no easy task, but I had fun and didn't overthink it - so here is the result: a 160 4/4 groove banger, made to bring power on the dance-floor and constantly wanna keep you at hyperspeed state of mind, you know what I mean?

This is another Striktly remix, Viagra Boys's Punk Rock Loser gets a Bazootka treatment.

This is a high-paced and energetic 150bpm bomb that sounds so effortless with Sebastian's vocals, after all we're talking about a punk band here. So punk as we are, uniting the two styles of ours into one techno utopia — join the journey of a "zero fucks given" attitude and crazy powerful groove beneath. It's a roller.

The original track "Punk Rock Loser" is taken from their newest release at the moment of writing "Cave World". Highly recommended listen for any music geeks that love diverse styles of raw, powerful and honest music that goes beyond the edge often, but does it proper. Viagra Boys are timeless.

As always, the rule of the Striktly remixes is for the tracks to be started and finished in one night. 1N evolved.
