This is a favorite Chandrabindoo number which to me is one of the simplest and beautiful romantic songs around. I attempted my own acoustic version. Once again...scratchy

Jodi Bolo Hyan--Scratch

This is a Bollywood number composed by mithoon and sung by Arijit Singh from a crappy Bollywood movie Aashiqui 2. As much as the movie sucks, the music has been quite good esp this song sung ever so soulfully by Arijit. Here's me daring to even attempt it in my acoustic scratch style. Scratchy it is indeed.

Tum Hi Ho - Scratch

One of my all time favorite music groups happens to be Moheener Ghoraguli and this is their number Songbighno pakhikul (also known as Runway). The original is a master lesson on the importance of melody and harmony with minimalist arrangement and near impossible to recereate. This is my scratchy acoustic interpretation of the song with a little faster tempo Id say.

After a mini hiatus decided to try something beyond the conventional Bollywood numbers and bangla adhunik. A dare at a Rabindrasangeet seemed the first step to the experiment. One of my favorite Rabindrasangeets that I believe captures the Baul philosophy of Rabindranath Tagore.

Amar Praner Manush

Lalan Fakir remains probably one of the most influential modern philosophers of his times. His philosophy reflects in his music which is simple, earthern yet deep. I've attempted one of his popular songs on casteism and its futility. I doubt if I can capture the same magic without the soulful effect of a dotara and the baul style of singing. So this could be looked at as my personal take on the song.
