Les Tronchiennes are one of the most promising new talents from belgium! Their distinct pounding new techno sound makes heads turn quickly at the moment. Whereas a lot of other producers of this future techno movement seem to try to produce for the mind and forget about the feet, these guys just were born in dancing shoes! Fresh off their remix for aUtOdiDakT & Nadisko which got a lot of support in the scene they deliver their first Ep for Maehtrasher which to nobodys surprise is a decent floor-stormer. While Squeeze is a evil 303 stomper Surge keeps it funky and clappy. On Remixes old label buddies Bobble turn out a corker of a techno tune, Rob Threezy keeps it jacking and russian Roby Howler & Namesis deliver their soundtrack to eastblock ghetto nights.

Solid Steel (10th October) Second Storey is our guest in Hour 1. Formerly known as Al Tourettes, his new project has an album out on Houndstooth this week and his mix takes in tracks from Sculpture, Efdemin, Laurel Halo, Cristian Vogel and Dopplereffekt.  This is what he had to say;
"It's a pleasure to be asked to do a mix for Solid Steel. I took the opportunity to focus on some of my primary creative inspirations…The mix takes in Ambient, Electronica, Techno, Experimental and Electro favourites new and old, alongside some of the music from my debut album 'Double Divide'…it's predominantly Space-Based with a few excursions to the Motherland along the way...I hope you enjoy it"
