After their inaugural stand-out release from minimal maestro Chklte, UK Label Moonfruit Records returns with further innovative output. Making their second EP another unique trip is the exciting first outing from Real Gang’s Miller as he presents his new alter ego alias, Dracula. Three dance floor dynamic cuts all telling their own tale as the talented producer brings some fresh energy, exploring uncharted territory and a new universe of textures you may not recognize from him. Taking up the whole of the A side is “November 1992” a chugging sub bass cruises down a curious road of uncertainty. An almost sinister vocal takes you on a tour of the track, as you meander around via the form of the floaty and pensive synth work. As you become totally immersed in the track the Dracula name begins to make total sense.

This Years Xmas mix is from an artist we have admired and followed for more then a decade, watching him explode this year into the limelight of where he truly deserves has been wonderful.

MILLER steps up with almost 3 hours of story telling to enjoy over Xmas and all year round. Aside from being a stellar DJ and producer, he’s prob one of the most genuine and nicest guys you can meet in the industry.

As an artist, MILLER draws inspiration from a wide array of musical influences, infusing his tracks with a rich emotional depth and technical precision. His studio work showcases a commitment to exploring, experimenting and producing music that resonates with both heart and soul. Constantly evolving, MILLER is not just a performer but a curator of moments, connecting with audiences on a profound level and leaving a lasting imprint wherever his music is heard.

It has been some time since Real Gang founding member Miller appeared on our mix series, but a lot has happened in those six years. Danny has gone through a huge period of growth in recent times, and his productions have been steadily reaching new audiences. This has come via a rocking release on Nervous Records’ new underground imprint _NRV, and while this stays true to his own sound, the New York brand offers a new generation of heads a link to Miller’s corner of the underground. These new directions are further bolstered by Miller’s unbreakable connection to some of the finest underground labels as well as regular outings on his own Real Gang imprint. 

As well as the undoubted successes enjoyed by his own productions, he has been spreading his love around by way of his widely lauded DJ sets, and these have been coming in regular stints at the likes of Pacha, Star Lane Pizza Bar, Little Fields Festival, Brich in Turin, and Duboka in Birmingham. Miller is now settled back in his beloved Ibiza, and he is now in the process of putting the finishing touches to his brand new club Tomadachi and from what we have heard about the project, this is going to change the game on The White Isle.

Moving on to Miller’s mix for our InSession, and this edition is a punchy swagger through the many sounds that he has at his disposal. Cropped minimal jams rub shoulders effortlessly with more garage-tinged sounds, while deep house classics appear momentarily before seguing into an unreleased bomb from the man himself. If you have caught Danny in action, you will know to expect the unexpected, and speaking of this recording for our series, he advises, “This is a live recording and that's how it's meant to be.”

Whilst we wait for the cycle to happen, we are more active than ever however not getting the opportunity to show our work. With many people asking what we are getting upto we decided to remix a really cool, solid track by C Rock and release it on a FREE DOWNLOAD for you to use it as you please.

5 years ago it all started with our very first release the Raw Joints #1. We wanted to build a platform for our artists to publish their music as they see it. Now 13 releases further we're ready to introduce our biggest project ever since: Raw joints #5!! To celebrate our 5th anniversary we decided to do something special and we had so many tracks that we decided to do a triple LP with 14 tracks on it. A lot of new/old artists have contributed to this heavy weight dance floor bomb with various styles and energy. To top it off we asked our good friends from Studio Airport to complete this thing with a proper Raw Joint sleeve. 
The mask is the face of SlapFunk and inside this gatefold sleeve you will find us all dancing to that one thing which unites us all: Music! 
Shout out to our dear friend Vincent de Boer for drawing the magic.

We are happy to welcome Real Gang Soundsystem fascinating vibes in our trip through sounds. Miller and Nicolau have recently done enormous steps forward in shaping their sound towards an unique direction, and outstanding results followed shortly after.

Their recent ventures in Ibiza and now in Manchester for the winter-season confirmed the synergies between the two, and fits perfectly within the broader philosophy adopted by the crew they are part of, Real Gang.

Growth, group identity and authenticity are three of the main pillars not only in their personal life, but occupy a central space in the artistic one as well.

You may know him for his successful Real Gang brand or for his always-on-point groovy productions on Leftback or Arupa, but the truth is that Ibiza based Miller is on an unstoppable rise. Since his move to the white island back in 2014, this guy was immediately noticed for his ability on gently shaking the crowd, creating a movement where before there was not, constantly blending records until the dancefloor reaches the perfect balance. This led him to showcase his sound across Ibiza Underground - where he first made is bones regularly playing there - plus performances at the infamous DC10 and The Zoo Project, not to mentions some standout shows around Europe including London's Fabric and Amsterdam’s hidden gem BRET. Miller his also the co-founder, alongside his partner in crime Nicolau of Real Gang, a brand that has found its natural home at the Underground club in Ibiza over an outstanding summer season.

Founder of upcoming underground movement “Real Gang”, Miller has took his crew to play records in some of the most charismatic clubs around. Personally, he is a talent you come across that has committed to music as a way of life, its all he has known and spent his time growing to bring together the arts of the producer and the DJ. 

Miller has a particularly recognisable style, with an ability to create a low end focused depth, he keeps a consistency of rolling drums and obscure rhythmic patterns that holds the foundation of his constant groove as he goes through genres with the dancefloor on his side. Putting this with his no barriers mindset of making people dance, results in an intelligent display of blending records and maintaining a dance floor that want to stay. 

His breakthrough came on the island of Ibiza when he became resident at a birthplace for many of the greats The Zoo Project and Ibiza Underground. Here he developed his sound, experience and now holds his own resident show Real Gang regularly at both of the respected spots. His rise allowed him to showcase his sound across these residencies, aswell as at hotpots DC10, London's Fabric and Amsterdam’s gem BRET, for his own Real Gang brand and appearances for his dutch family Slapfunk Records, where he has been a firm member of the crew since their fusion in 2016. 

This constant work ethic from a young age has given Miller an impressive tally of shows and experience under his belt. This artist stays true to the Underground scene as he steps forward strongly into a international touring schedule. Running two vinyl only labels, a touring party brand aswell as a constant release schedule is the constant effort Miller puts into the Underground.
