I was in a long-distance relationship for a short time and constantly found myself worrying & overthinking things. I started asking myself questions like “where is she at” & “who is she with”. As I talked to more people about this they told me it sounds like you’re dealing with “Separation Anxiety”.

I need a song that describes a girls beauty, from her body, to her lips, eye lash, etc. Sometimes as a man you have to promote confidence into a women who just can’t see her own beauty in the mirror. That’s partly what this song is about, aside from there being nothing like having a girl you’re down with that you’re 100% mesmerized by.

That was the beginning of a journey which later saw Isaiah enter through the hallowed doors of Queens College NY to study classical theory and where he became an integral part of a jazz ensemble. Understanding those nuances of jazz syncopation and the need to give other members of the group the space and time to do their thing, shines through in the RnB music he delivers today.
Teaching himself piano during those years and excelling at the alto saxophone, his mastery of the studio and the sounds he now creates is simply breathtaking. Inspired by the great John legend, Luther Vandross and super producers Diddy & Ryan Leslie, his sumptuous beats and infectious vocals create a musical experience like no other. That genius of his peers permeates the very fabric of his songs as he explores themes such as sex, love, and pain, weaving a constant narrative throughout his work.
