Berlin producer Jack Tennis is the mastermind behind a lot of projects. He releases his own music under the name Hotlane (signed to Gomma Records) and spreads his Disco-Edits for UK’s influential Disco Label Midnight Riot (run by Yam Who!), Spa In Disco and Too SLow To Disco. He has an edit on every TSTD YACHT DISCO EDITS compiatlion so far, he was already part of TSTD EDITS 2 – Brasil with an edit, and last year he remixed SATIN JACKETS for TSTD NEO’s “The Sunset Manifesto” - compilation. The 4 tracks on this compilation are regular floor fillers in DJ Supermarkt’s DJ Sets, so it was time to give them a proper vinyl release. Lots more to come!

TSTD EDITS 09: A2 Jack Tennis - Love No More (transparent 10 inch E.P.)

A collective of musicians devoted to walking the blurred lines that divide disco, funk, boogie and house - Kokoro Disco San! The Barcelona group brought their uncanny ability to capture the mood and instrumentation of classic disco and soul with their uplifting summer anthems on the recent Sunshine EP.

KDS's Javi and Miguel recently came together for a groove session at Marula, their favorite boogie joint in their hometown Barcelona. We've cut a sensational 90 minutes from the 6+ hour jam to enjoy as the latest Razor-N-Tape Podcast. They showcase all the tones & treats that have shaped the Kokoro Disco San sound : disco, funk, and house provide the foundation, while cumbia, salsa, hip hop and other flavors enter the fro throughout this set of eclectically dance-centric selections.

DiscoDaze #250 - 22.07.22 (5th Birthday Show / Final Show) (Guest Mix - Art Of Tones)

Non-smoking, 5'11", spotlight-avoiding music producer, crate digger, rare DJ but all-round music aficionado, originally from the UK's East Midlands but currently living in the Middle East, YSE Saint Laur' Ant, is the latest international guest in the Slow Mo Lounge global mixtape series. He plays a solid 1-hour set, alongside Slow Mo Lounge (South Africa) founder, Kongisto.

The mix begins with an hour of filtered slo-mo disco-house loops and weirded-out samples over hypnotic shuffles - breezy, disco-drenched yacht rock. 

In the second hour and a half, Kongisto, plays household favourite slow-burners, new disco edits, and unreleased versions, collected from some of the best genre-based producers around the globe.

Popular for his smash hits, 'Warm Wind Brewing' and 'I Own The Boogie' off his 2013 EP, 'Beards', YSE Saint Laur' Ant's credits include labels like Whiskey Disco, Editorial, Pressed For Time, Vinyl Only, Swedish Brandy, Lost My Dog, Ornate Music, City Fly, Pickpocket, and Blockhead Recordings (to name a few). This man is a giant producer, and his musical ability is no exception.

YSE Saint Laur' Ant X Slow Mo Lounge

In 2016, after travelling to Estonia for a gig with the TIKS collective I did a mixtape of all the great records I found on my trip. Couple years later, I went to Bulgaria for a gig with Love & Happiness and found more records, including several that I had found in Estonia. As the 2016 mixtape is long gone from Soundcloud, I thought I'd do a new one - this time tempo mixed - using the records from both travels. It's music mostly from the eastern bloc but not exclusively, just great tunes I found there. Probably nothing mega rare, but lots of great music I found myself returning to regularly. Enjoy!
