This is a piece I wrote, using artist Holly Birtles' words, inspired by her photography exhibition 'Up to your Neck in Mud'. It is a layered and thoughtful composition, exploring space, repetition, dischord and loss.

Waldeinsamkeit is the German word to describe the specific loneliness you can feel when in a forest.  Which is where I happened to be living when I started writing it.  
This is a live version recorded at an event called The Muso Next Door where a concert is held in someone's house every month.  Each gig is recorded and I have fabulous musicians Matteo Tambussi and Georgie Fisher for making this for me.
