CHRONIC WASTING DISEASE ft. ASTERIAN (SynthV Original Song)

So this is a song I've tried to compose after remembering on last minute the contest was still on and the deadline was near. I wasn't having any idea of the lyrics and was somehow having a melody in mind... originally I was aiming for a 90's R'n'B-like genre but slowly fell back into disco, funk and jazz instead, which melodies would suit his voice. Due to major lack of time in my schedule, I turned it into a nearly acapella, vocal-only tune. Then I simply transposed real life matter to add more substance and naturalness, so it turned it into a song about infatuation about two people having known each other for a long time, questions about love, attraction and a relationship between the narrator and a person they're fond of, that, due to the introvert yet caring nature of the latter, tends to move like the phases of the Moon, yet retains a feeling of eternity (like how the Moon seems to exist forever from a human perspective) and trust. Full warmth is represented by the full moon size, and the New Moon represent the lover's character at their most aloof and shy moments. Moreover, the Moon often represents feelings and emotions in common astrology beliefs. Asterian having moon and stars as symbols helped me a bit with the lyrics and it went out pretty naturally. ~ Then for some reasons I imagined doing simply little short sentences as BG vocals that would be in French, then decided to add Asterian himself. 
My Deepvocal wip Mylène, as well as galaco and maybe Clara were supposed to sing those too but then I remembered the rules so it remained only the two of us haha (and I wanted to focus on him only but I could feature Solaria LITE). The lyrics were supposed to be in French but due to lack of time I feared missing out the deadline so I decided to only leave a few of the BG vocals lines in French and keep it to English. I was mainly inspired by, and couldn't help but adding a quick nod to Barry White's "The first, the last, the everything" because of a sentence that fits totally with Asterian and Solaria's space theme and the metaphor throughout the song. This work uses the Lite version of the Voice Database. 

I will remake the BGM better next time as it wasn't close to what I had in mind ToT But this song meant so much to me lyrics-wise so I still tried my best to enter on time
