Its been more than six months since I’ve had the last chance to play some music in front of a crowd. I tried to put all of my hope, my love & dedication as well as my anger into this DJ mix. This journey reflects what I would be playing in the morning hours at a club such as KaterBlau and some melancholic-melodic moments to just make you fly away. I tried to create a mixture of old classics and new tracks - and even three of my upcoming releases. I really hope you resonate with it as much I did. - Love, Milo (@miloh-fliger)

Es bleibt leider kaum Zeit sich umzusehen. Lighter beginnt als zuständiger Nachtmanager sofort mit der Einweisung. Ich werde meinen Abend am Einlass beginnen. Danach als Springer für Getränkenachschub an den Bars sorgen und letztendlich soll ich meine Runden als Botschafter der Musik auf der Tanzfläche drehen und mich um das Wohlbefinden der Gäste kümmern. Hört sich nach einem stabilen Abend an. 
Bevor die erste Schicht beginnt, kann ich Lighter noch kurz abfangen und eine Frage in eigener Sache stellen. Bei der Einteilung der Schichten, ist mir aufgefallen, dass sich niemand um den Backstage Bereich kümmert. Zudem habe ich auch noch nicht herausfinden können, wo sich dieser befindet. Ich wollte wissen, ob ich Zugang zu dem Bereich haben werde und ob ich eventuell den „Raverend“ kennenlernen könnte. Seine Antwort war leider wenig erfreulich „Ist leider Chefsache und damit meine ich nicht mich. Um den Artist kümmert sich immer einer der ComRa Chefs persönlich. Selbst ich habe keinen Zugang zum Backstage Bereich. Auch zur Bühne habe ich keinen Zutritt. Unter uns, den „Raverend“ kenne ich auch nur als Gestalt hinter dem Dj-Pult.“
Ich versuche mir durch den kleinen Rückschlag die gute Laune nicht verderben zu lassen und gehe zum Einlass. Dort angekommen, kann ich über einen Monitor die Schlange vor dem Eingang sehen. Es warten bereits hunderte Menschen darauf in den Techno Tempel gelassen zu werden. An diesen Abend verläuft alles unkompliziert. Innerhalb einer Stunde haben wir alle Feierwilligen in die Kathedrale geschleust. Die Kapseln an den Handgelenken der Raver haben alle perfekt funktioniert. Am Bildschirm konnte ich dank den in der Kapsel gespeicherten Daten verfolgen, wer an diesem Abend die große Party besucht. Dabei habe ich mir das Gesicht und den Namen einiger Gäste gemerkt, welche ich später gezielt ansprechen möchte. Diese waren schon lange nicht mehr bei ComRa Veranstaltungen und ich möchte die Gründe dafür herausfinden. Beim Durchgehen der Daten fällt mir auf, dass es eine Möglichkeit gibt sich sogar noch mehr Details anzeigen zu lassen. Leider kann ich auf diese nicht zugreifen, da sie Passwort geschützt sind. Welche Informationen wohl noch über die Gäste gesammelt werden?  

Die heutige deep story kommt von Milo Häfliger. Der Schweizer ist bekannt für sein feines Gespür im Bereich deep house. Ob es eigene Produktionen sind oder seine DJ-Sets, alles ist perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt und mit Liebe zum Detail erstellt. Mit seinem Set lädt er dazu ein, sich wieder mit seinem wahren Selbst zu verbinden und tief im Inneren nach vergrabenen oder manchmal vergessenen Gefühlen zu suchen. So beginnt eine schöne Geschichte im Herzen unseres Unterbewusstseins, untermalt von erlesenen Klängen.

The 5th winter compilation from Art Vibes has arrived and we are beyond happy to finally share it with you. This selection brings together the effort of 8 producers settled in different parts of the world. Winter Vibes V is full of mystical percussions, deep synths and organic sonic atmospheres.
The compilation starts off with Scabeni and her latest tune 'Purity'. This comforting track guides us on a path of calm and well-being. It's positive, deep, shimmering with shamanic voices and magical synthesizers. It provokes the same feeling as being floating in-between dreams and reality.

MI.LA delivers her track ‘Garden', an introspective piece with a seductive bass line. This deep track includes organic textures, spatial voices and mesmerizing piano melodies. A breathtaking piece of music.

Ric Neils' ‘Vibranova' gets off to a fresh and active start. The smooth sensations begin to mix with landscapes of molecular synthesizers. Just before the drop hits, the listening experience reaches a point of unimaginable intensity. Try it out for yourself!

Madraas joins the label with ‘Moments', a smooth and elegant entrance to say the least. Filled with subtle keyboards and distant vocals, the progressive sequences detonate into an enjoyable uplifted sonic chain.

9DEEP's strikes back with ‘Enceladus'. A groovy drop with danceable percussions, dreamlike voices and moving stereo objects is all it takes to take one on a natural path alongside mystical sirens. This track is a harmonic gas leak dispersed throughout the galaxy.

‘Trails' is Veytik's latest creative output. A mind-blowing piece with experimental percussions, designed to plunge one into trance. Mixed with drones and flirty spontaneous marimba hits, the drops are no short of vigorous and intense. Rapid attacks of auditory adrenaline are coming your way without further ado.

Milo Håfllger comes back to AVM with ‘Lucieli Zurali', a dance-floor banger filled with special atmospheres and a powerful, satisfying low-end. The ethnic voices of the band Laboratorium Piesni lead us to visit a surreal Polish space destined for ecstatic dance. Without expecting it, Milo immerses us into a cloud of electric synthesizers and rhythmic choirs.

‘Enki & Anu' by Beyond Physical closes the compilation. Starting with magnificent percussive sounds and spatial zither licks, the track is at the intersection of organic house and synthetic melodic techno. The oriental progression euphorically resolves into a minimalist drop. If you're into hunky synths and psychedelic sounds, this one is for you !

The artistic freedom of the producers involved in Winter Vibes V is once again putting Art Vibes at the forefront of the electronic music scene.

We are closing this year with the final sets of ADE! In comes our forever hero Milo Häfliger. Due to a busy schedule that ADE weekend, we welcomed him on an early slot on Sunday, instead of his usual closing slots. But whenever or wherever we place this ultra talent he smashed it in any case.. Gosh how we love him and his music!!!

In the end we're beyond grateful to start the day with Milo. It was immediately the right mood, the right sound, the right everything.

Even three days after the massacre in Paris I'm still speechless. Last year, I fell in love with this dark, melancholic but also very charming city. I met so many wonderful people. I danced so many nights till the sun rose. I drank so many espressi in these amazing little bars. I listened to the wonderful sounds at Bataclan. 

We lost so many souls this friday. So many innocent people. Not only in Paris, but in the whole world.

Here's a reworked mix I made last year while being in Paris. We had so much fun listening to it. And danced through the streets. So much joy, so much love. Let's send all this love to the ones we've lost. 

Love will conquer!

I strongly believe that dreams are windows into worlds beyond the ordinary. Some people have dreams that give them guidance about the smallest details of their daily life along with profound spiritual insights. Others experience unconditional and transforming love in their dreams. 

Thats why always try to put people into a state of dream where they can seek their inner voice. To rise their very own consciousness, and, step by step, the consciousness of society. 

And all the places I've visited, all the beautiful people I've met...you've conquered my heart. I can happily say that in each of these places I left a part of my heart. It's quite incredible to be able to share my inner voice in front of so many beautiful souls.
I am so grateful for everything.

It is with a smile on my face that I will re-enter this journey, and dream of what comes next.

Electronic music is hard to define genre. At most of my shows around the world I've been asked the same question of "how I would define my musical genre" again and again. 

But I'm not a fan of putting things in labelled boxes. Of course, people use these boxes to not get lost in the incredible diversity of musical styles. But these "genres" are very limiting for those who listen and for those who share it with others. Mostly, they are one sided, inaccurate and misleading. 

My musical universe is not only downtempo-ish, emotional house but also melodic ethnic techno - and so much more. For me, a DJ-set is open to innovation, experimentation and change which creates the magic in the end. 

So there you go with one hour of listening to the "Vastness of the Universe" which refers to the variety of my musical universe. Much love to all of you and see you somewhere somewhen around the globe soon! <3

Hello! 

Here is the recording of my very first sunset set with the family of The Gardens of Babylon. Due to a missed flight I switched set times with Be Svendsen and got the chance to play while the sun slowly started to set. As the songs were passing by, the radiant glow of light illuminating the whole rooftop created a magical, quite surreal atmosphere. It was an honor to soundtrack this moment. No matter how hard I try, I don't succeed finding words to describe the energy and emotions felt in that instant. Well, I let the music speak.

I would like to thank The Gardens of Babylon for inviting me. Wherever we are, I always feel at home and I'm grateful to have shared this moment with so many beautiful souls. THANK YOU!

It has been 239'000 plays,9'230 hearts and many priceless encounters after the upload of Awakening. Wherever I travelled to, people kept talking to me about the effect of this mixtape. I always knew that music has a strong impact on human beings, but I would have never imagined to witness something like that. So, first of all, I'd like to thank YOU for every single heart & listen. Secondly, I'd like to share with you the continuation of Awakening. I have been collecting tracks & sounds within the past six months and here's a selection of these I love the most and, in my eyes, fit the idea of "Awakening".

Wow!


What a night it was at @tivitbilisi !!! It felt really good and refreshing to explore deeper & more melodic atmospheres. It was my first visit in Tbilisi and people were so receptive for my intimate and much more introspective set in relation to what I usually play. I hope my recorded set from that evening gives you similar feelings we all felt there!

Most parts of the world are in a state of isolation right now and the whole situation makes me confused, worried and thoughtful.

But what seems to me the most appropriate question is whats coming next? Do our societies learn out of this crisis? I think the time has come for more humanity and humility. The opportunity for more love and mindfulness in this world has come. I really hope that we start thinking less about ourselves and start to understand the world as a whole. 

Here, I'm sharing with you my - musical - Reflection on Mindfulness which has been recorded on Saturday night in my studio. I hope you'll resonate with it.

@akumandra hosted a live global radio between April 10 and 12. Since my Mezcla for the label I've been a big fan of their projects. I was more than happy to contribute a 1h mix among so many of my favorite artists such as @andreasbalicki, @arutani, @eli_official, @elifmusique, @hobta, @kapoormusic & @hvitling, @mateo-a, @mommusic, @ste-vie-1, @sarahkreis, @vicnorman, @zone-plus and many more. 

We live dire times in the coronavirus isolation and I want to share some music with you all from the warmth and comfort of my home. We absolutely need to stay positive and I think that music is a large part of what gets us through times like these.

Wow!

What a night it was! It was my fifth show with the amazing @thegardensofbabylon family and it was such a wonderful feeling to play at HOME in Switzerland. 

I can't describe in words what happened after I took over the decks. 2 hours passed by like 5 seconds and I still have goosebumps now! But I'll better let the music speak for itself :)
