Having spent the last 12 months refining their sound and building a powerful live show supporting the likes of Bonobo, Yacht, Giraffage, Classixx, Rüfüs, Kilter and The Kite String Tangle, Flamingo are set to release their debut E.P ‘Heavy Steps’ in April 2014 following considerable interest in their first offering; ‘Heart, My’. 

Expect dreamy synths, swaying drums and hypnotizing vocals.

Caeli August returns with “I Was Sent,” a darkly poetic Afrotrap-R&B fusion produced by NuVox and written by Aime Pandi Bapaga. What begins as a mission of betrayal unravels into a quiet confession — a war between duty and love, control and surrender. Lush piano chords, ghostly harmonies, and gentle Afrotrap percussion wrap around Caeli’s intimate vocal delivery in this haunting dream of a song.
