Of minimal sound compared to his previous releases, “Same-Oh” captures repetitive sounds of the London underground: the purr of trains leaving the station; idle chatter of tourists; the stillness of waiting. The track protests our resignation to the mundane and endless systems we can’t avoid. The mellow vibrations build around you, allowing the pulses to rock you rhythmically into the journey.
