Soprano Mimi Doulton is a Live Music Now Artist (with pianist Dylan Perez), a Longborough Festival Emerging Artist, a Leeds Lieder Young Artist, an Opera Prelude Artist and a Park Lane Group Young Artist. She has developed and premiered new works for the Royal Opera, Birmingham Opera Company, Mahogany Opera Group, Tête a Tête, Club Inegales, Fondation Royaumont, Graeae, Snape Maltings, and Wigmore Hall. 

Recent engagements include cover Jerusha Cramer in Gerald Barry’s The Intelligence Park for Music Theatre Wales and The Royal Opera, Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance with Merry Opera Company, and creating the role of Mary in Wake with Birmingham Opera Company. Her 2019/20 season featured a number of role debuts, which have been either postponed or cancelled due to Covid-19. These included Jano in Jenufa (postponed), Lucia in the Rape of Lucretia (postponed), Ilia in Idomeneo (cancelled), and creating the role of Maya in Blue Electric (postponed). 

Mimi graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with distinction in 2018, having previously read Music and Languages at King's College London. She continues her studies with Gary Coward.
