Tri-Tip conquers the dance floors as he focuses on the music and encourages fun, food, and comfort along the way. You can find a wide spread of genres in his mix discography via SoundCloud. The Chapel Radio Show - Episode 013 (Guest Mix: Tri-Tip)

You have absolutely no care in the world today!  None! So where does this take you?  To the store, of course.  That change in your pocket jangling about, weighing you down. Clinkity jingle, that sound fills your heart with joy.  It feels good, you know you got money for some candy or chips, maybe a drink?  Oh, the choices!  Today is perfect!  You select your treats and head to the check out, smiling all the way!  "That will be $4.39", the cashier says!  You prepared for this!  Your fingers clasp at the change and you pull it out onto the counter.  You begin to count out the exact change!  Then you hear it!  A collective sigh and grumble as the line stares you down.  "Hurry it up!", they mutter.  You begin to sweat and the nerves begin to set in.  But then it hits you!  You got music in your heart.  You got all the time in the world, so you slow down even more!  "Nonsense!", one lady cries.  No!  This is Nu Disco.

Frosted Festival - Set 1 - Chilled To The Bone - Deep House

With the festival now underway, you hear a commotion ahead.  Your group of friends give each other quick glances and a few smiles.  What's going on over there?  Curiosity heightened, all of you head towards what appears to be a tent.  You pass some food vendors and street performers, when you hear it.  Music begins to fill your ears.  This is what you came for!  A warm stirring begins to fill your body.  Your limbs tingle and an uncontrollable smile shifts across your face.  What is this feeling you feel?  An uplifting sense of joy, igniting within you!  You and your friends enter the tent and are hit with some funky groove tunes!  Might as well join in, right?

DJ Hunk - The Saturday House Session 25.11.23

Laughter fills the air.  Great food, great company!  The warmth near the outside heaters and the nourishment filled that spot.  In the distance you hear a rumble.  Your eyes go wide and looks of concern cross each others faces.  "What is that?", you think.  Someone yells, "Avalanche!?".  No, it can't be!  Not at this festival?! You all get up and begin to prepare to take shelter, but you notice no one else is running?  Curious your group begins to scan around and just around the corner you see a group of people  dancing and jumping with energy!  It was the bass all along?!  With sighs of relief you know your next stop at this frozen playground!  Some bass house is what the doctor ordered to shake things up!  And with that your group begins to join the fury of dancers and music as the festival continues on!

Frosted Festival - Set 7 - Bass Avalanche - Bass House

The sun in the sky begins to set.  The stars above, along with the moon shine down on the soft powdered snow beneath your feet.  The festivals fireworks are about to start.  You and your friends rush to the main circle for the show.  Glimmering in the sky as 2023 comes to a close and the new year begins are the fireworks shimmering against the night sky.  You and your friends shared memories at this festival.  You ate, danced, laughed and sung all through the festival.  The sights, the sounds and the company all came to this moment.   As sad as it is, 2023 is closing and so is the Frosted Festival.   The music lifts the mood and makes way for 2024.

Frosted Festival - Set 8 - Festival Finale - Future House

On Jan 14th 2023.  I stumbled upon Club Ready DJ School.  So as an early birthday present and a few emails back and forth with Andrew, I took a chance and signed up.  DJing is something I have always wanted to do and at one point even tried to learn locally in my city.  I arrived at this persons apartment where he had some DJ videos playing on tv.  I came in and sat on the sofa and we watched for a bit.  Then he took me over to his decks.  He tried his best to show me what to do and kept insisting I just get my own decks and practice.  I feel he just wasn't comfortable with me learning on his.  As the lesson went on,  I was told "I don't look natural behind a deck, I don't know what I am doing, and that I will never get it", he progressively got more annoyed.  After that lesson, we just never connected back again.  It was a really rough go and a pretty sad event.  Djing fell into the background and soon that faded as life carried on.  Until years later where I found Club Ready DJ school, that spark hit me again and here we are.  I might not have had the best start.  But, here is me, being vulnerable and open to you listeners.  You have to start somewhere.  And this is my start.  Thank you for being on my journey!  A mixture of house and tech house tunes.  Or so I thought at the time.  Enjoy
