Born in 1978, his Dj career began with audio cassettes in an emblematic club in his hometown about 20 years ago. Throughout these years he has been very dedicated when he plays music, with pop, rock, alternative, dance, funk and all good music of the 90's being the genres in his portfolio up until he found his passion - electronic music. This happened in the period between 2001-2002. Unfortunately, the beginning of his professional career was marked by lack of information, technical equipment, contacts and ideas. So he had the scene set and summoned all of his energy into self-perfection and growing in the desired direction which was to create a distinguished style and particular choice of music including house, deep, tech and techno. Consequently, he began spending countless hours of work on selection, mixing and sets recording, some of which were played on the internet and other radio stations. Subsequently, he had his first gigs in different clubs and private parties. Thereafter, in 2010, he went and lived in London for a year where he had the chance to get acquainted with the secret parties and the underground scene. Followed by several stunning gigs being with Leading Astray, different bars ,secret parties and clubs like Pacha, etc. During the summer of 2011, when he came back home, he met Dockoff for the first time behind the decks on the seaside . So, somehow naturally, the project "University of Nowhere" was born - the creative collective of Dockoff & Mimo! As a consequence he met the producing and he became a permanent resident dj at beach bar Verano in 2012. After a couple of winters filled with energy and passion for the idea of creating music came the first release of Alboratory , next to Little Helpers, Thatz Right music, Not Equal Records ,Vivus Records ,Tupiar records, Tagged music, Dubgestion, Bla Bla music, Modeight, Whoyostro and more. He usually spent a lot of time in the studio working on new projects with his friend Dockoff, most of them with upcoming releases. DJ Mimo (Mariyan Dinkov) has gained his experience as a dj from playing in a number of clubs and events throughout the years. At the beginning of 2015 he started collecting and playing on vinyls some of his favorite deep tech and minimal dub tracks. His love for the music has been proved and the finest feeling of all for him when playing is the richness which music provides, the close contact with people and the pleasure of making them happy while dancing!
