Visionist & Fatima Al Qadiri - The Call

What a day, one of our founders and label head Dandara is finally releasing his first solo EP on his very own LOKD.

During the last years, his sound has evolved into his very own universe. Achieving an unique balance between world atmospheres, and electronic elements, mainly produced with analogue synthesizers and field recordings. Always characterized by its well developed grooves, his sound has been an inspiration for many, and we are very looking forward to see where it heads in the coming times.

On remix duty we present newcomer K2W0, already familiar in our label with an amazing re-interpretation of “Danza”.

We can only be grateful for this amazing release. And hoping for it to be the first of many yet to come.

After excursions into Hip Hop, Rap and film music Austrian producer and musician Urbs has returned to the downtempo and Triphop styles that were the cornerstones of his most successful work, discovering his very own niche along the way. Using obscure samples as well as traditional instrumentation for his impressionistic instrumental pieces he takes us to „Geheimland“, the secret land of our imagination where things are not as they seem.

Jan 10ner keeps getting lost in the sound of arpeggiators. Whenever he sits at home and wants to make music, he gets carried away. Accompanied by jazzy dub sounds, he makes his way to the listener.

Rhythmus Mensch takes this feeling into mysterious clubby worlds.
