A friend challenged her circle to write a quarantine love song. In thinking about what to write, I realized during this shelter in place process how much I took for granted. What a privilege it is to wake up and walk outside, to have people you love and who love you back, and to have community. Distance does make the heart grow fonder! This song is dedicated to all the people and places I love. I can't wait to be reunited. In the meantime, let's all do our jobs by staying home and staying safe.

Times are crazy and they’re getting stranger by the day.
How are we supposed to make it ‘til tomorrow? 
Everyone is asking if I’m gonna be ok.
Will I find a way to hold back all my sorrow? 
I’ve been stuck in the house and I can’t leave.

I just eat everything.
