A few months ago a person I really care about walked out of my life. It was mentally devastating to me and I blamed myself a lot. How could a person I foolishly assumed I knew hurt me so deeply? There were a lot of negative emotions and I let my thoughts run amok. These thoughts turned into poems and these poems turned into songs. I’m in the process of moving on but I wanted to encapsulate and immortalize the range of feelings I experienced as a reminder to not do the same damn thing again. 

Here’s the first poem turned song.

Cos I See 2

Slow, pretty repetitive because I focussed on the words. It’s about a girl, take a wild guess if you know me and it’s one of many so see, if this one is better than anything I couldn’t said to her face to face. Cos heaven knows I won’t see that face for a while now. She needed something I couldn’t give her, but she couldn’t give me something in return and neither of those things are bad see, we were good for each other and I adored her, and she is loved by so many that it’s alright that we couldn’t do it for each other because other people could.
