'Lucky' is the third and final project collaboration by London Singer-Songwriter Mina and London Neo-Soul piano whizz Nathan Britton. The original was of course one of Britney Spears' biggest hits. Mina grew up on Britney and this track is very special to her. When they were jamming in the studio they decided to give this banger a go and made it their own by changing the vibe and feel to a laid-back groove-driven soul/rnb version putting the focus on the lyrical meaning of the song that points to the loneliness that success can bring.

‘The One That Got Away’ is the second single by independent London based Singer-Songwriter Mina.
Mina's new single is a heartfelt ballad written with UK composer Nathan Britton in the process of going through her first breakup. The song was inspired by the heartbreak she felt and the melody for the classic-sounding chorus that reminds of old school songwriting, with its hopeful message came to her one day as she got up after another sleepless night when she finally felt ready to move on. Mina wants to send a message of hope to others going through a similar experience, as breaking up with one's first love can be an incredibly sad and trying time. It can feel like the end of the world, but time heals everything, and life puts things back into perspective. When writing ‘The One That Got Away’ she used that pain and poured into this song as a way of healing from an experience that meant letting of the idea that she had found the one which she now knows wasn’t true. Hopefully it can give listeners the courage to let go and realize that there is no need for resentment or tears as there is so much love left in this world and that pain will always heal with time.

‘Don’t Hold On’ is the brand-new single by London Singer-Songwriter Mina in collaboration with one of the UK’s most acclaimed Jazz & Neo Soul pianists & composers and regular at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London, Nathan Britton (Ego Ella May, Pixie Lott, Andy Davies). 

‘Don’t Hold On’ is a soul inspired song written by Mina about her experience navigating through the world of modern dating and how many of her generation are not only overwhelmed by too many choices but crippled by indecision and fear of commitment. It’s a powerful reminder that – love ceases to exist when people are emotionally detached and afraid to open up. Therefore, ‘Don’t Hold On’ tells the tale of short-lived encounters lacking intimacy, which often leave this generation feeling confused and disappointed in the fairytale idea of what love is supposed to be.

Inspired by her influences such as Gabrielle, Sade, Norah Jones and Alicia Keys, amongst others, Mina draws her writing inspirations from her own encounters and hopes to share them with her listeners as they go through the same real-life experiences of love and heartbreak.

Hailing from Switzerland, Mina moved to London after completing her A-Levels to pursue a career in music in one of the World’s greatest Music Capitals. Upon traveling around the country, she fell in love with the culture and the people which lead to her decision to stay indefinitely. She hit the ground running and was quickly welcomed into the live music scene and performing regularly at venues such as Proud Camden, Bush Hall and many other favorites. While her background is in Jazz and Classical singing, Mina continued to hone her craft and has delved into the world of making original music. With her main genres being soul, jazz and RnB, she found great mentors in Nathan Britton and by BBC Introducing celebrated music producer/artist Brando Walker at Soho.Live Studios in London. Over the past couple years, the trio worked on developing Mina’s sound and writing countless songs – ‘Don’t Hold On’ is the first release in a series of planned singles into 2023.

London Singer-Songwriter originally from Switzerland. 

Before the pandemic Mina was playing all across London but the big shutdown made her rethink her path and she decided to finally start writing original music. She found a home at Soho.Live Studios with mentors Brando Walker (producer/artist) and Nathan Britton (composer/pianist) with whom she developed her sound that lead to a bunch of songs inspired by her soul/jazz/r&b roots. She sees herself as a genre-fluid artist but this project was in style & writing highly influenced by some her biggest idols such as Amy Winehouse, Norah Jones, Sade and Gabrielle. For the first time Mina is opening up about her personal story, love and heartbreak. She plans on releasing all the songs into 2023 with her debut single being 'Don't Hold On' and to take these songs on the road to finally get back to her true love - performing and connecting with her audience.
