This is the third and final remix that completes my "Something Wonderful" single; some elements of the original have been reworked whilst others have been stripped away giving the track a simpler form and a bass driven progressive focus. I hope you will enjoy it!

QUESTIONS

What if some of Univision's old station IDs had more emphasis on their 4-note jingle?

I brought back some of the most memorable station IDs from the Hispanic broadcaster Univision in the USA, which are the ones that they used during the 2000s to the early-2010s, called the "White Space" IDs or bumpers.

I decided to try using some of these IDs from that TV network, although with their signature 4-note jingle more emphasized by the musical instruments and presets from Logic Pro heard here, which in each one of these IDs, they play the Univision melody during some points on the music track, depending on what they were going for around this time.

This piece is built on Ableton Live out of the recordings I recrently made of @kate-gallaher and @stellato-strings playing flute, recorder and violin, sometimes using melodies from John Walsh's The Bird Fancyer's Delight, then also with me on the piano.

The piece is a response to this week's @naviar-records challenge based on a haiku poem by Jerome Berglund and here's the information about that:

Jerome Berglund has worked as everything from dishwasher to paralegal, night watchman to assembler of heart valves.

Many haiku, haiga and haibun he’s written have been exhibited or are forthcoming online and in print, most recently in bottle rockets, Frogpond, and Modern Haiku. These are all due to change But I'd say a lot of these songs are something I'm proud of.
I sampled erovene on looperman and Will Arnett on Bojack Horseman episode: free churro.
Parts of the song were embodiments of how rappers put on a facade through their portrayal if extravagant, rich lifestyles when in reality, they're empty inside.
