Mind Mechanics - Moonchild (IronMaiden Cover)

Mind Mechanics is the brainchild of guitarist / John Stitt and drummer / lyricist Gene Celeste. The pair had written songs together for years and were putting together a record with bassist / engineer / producer Sean Gregory. All they needed was the right singer...Michael was introduced to the fold, and the chemistry was obvious from the get-go. Thus, the circle was complete. The current line-up was formed in 2000, and recorded "November Echo", an album of aggressive yet thoughtful Hard Rock songs with heavy Jazz overtones, thanks to the experimental spirit of John's guitar style. The future looked bright for the talented foursome...but as fate sometimes has it's own plans, the band was separated due to circumstances beyond their control. John, Gene, and Sean carried on, but ultimately pursued solo interests after time. Fast forward to 2005, and the threesome reunite to record the much more accessible and mature "Resonant Scream". This record featured John on Lead vocals, further cementing his abilities as a consummate musician..... In 2009, Michael returned to Toronto, and to Mind Mechanics, to once again take the helm of lead vocalist for "Latest In The News", the groups most well-crafted and intentional offering yet. The record was independently released in Autumn of 2011. 2012 will bring a new approach with the release of a single every few months, the first being "Haunt The Highway", the second being "Turnabout" , and "Better The Devil" is in the making..
